A series of microorganism illustrations commissioned by the Rubenstein Laboratory to showcase their primary research organisms. Microscope images of these creatures tend to be grey and blurry. Many of our donors were older folks who had a hard time seeing. I wanted them to be able to appreciate the beauty and detail of the creatures their research funds were helping.
